A new product line by textured hair specialist Dickey, a red-haired and freckled kinky-curly guru.

The line is kind of expensive but it really works in my opinion. What I hate about these "ethnic" products is that they never live up to the hype and the directions are inaccurate. Not so with these. I use on my hair and my daughter's hair.

What products do you use? I've been interested in the Kinky Curly Creme and wonder if it really does eliminate frizz and reduce shrinkage.

I really like Oyin's products http://www.oyinhandmade.com/oyin/index.php because of the "natural" ingredients. I have been using their products for a few years now with great success. I have to know what's in the hair products because my hair *really* hates some ingredients.

I'm always on the lookout for new products, though, so thanks for posting this.

I use the KCC and it works like a charm. Shrinkage is minimal but curls will contract as they dry and there is no way around that without resorting to really bad hair gel.

I love the Quench conditioner. Just order the clarifying shampoo because my hair and scalp hate product buildup and, while the non-sudsing shampoo is phenomenal, I'll need something to deep-cleanse every couple of weeks.

Hydrating finishing Creme? Not impressed but other people seem to like it.

Ditto on that! I took a quick look at Oyin and liked what I saw.

How is the defination with the KCC? Also do you have any pictures of your hair with the product in it that you wouldn't mind sharing? Smile
