This forum gives group members the opportunity to interact one-on-one with authors who have published books or articles on the color line, “race,” multiracialism, or on the multiracial movement. Each thread discusses one literary work.

To members: Feel free to ask any author about any topic. Nevertheless, we anticipate that most questions will probably focus on the craft of writing about “race.” That is, how the author chose the topic, researched it, organized it on paper, and got it published. If you have ever thought about writing on “race”-related topics for publication, here is your chance to ask others how they went about it.

To authors: If you have published a book or article in this field, and are willing to share your experiences with others, please send a private message to “fwsweet” or email fwsweet@backintyme.com, so that we can set up a thread to publicize your work in this “Meet The Authors” forum. In short, each thread in this forum is like a book-signing gig, but without the chair, table, autograph pen, travel, and boredom.
