A group of white longtime activist foot soldiers for the black Civil Rights movement attend a meeting as ''insiders'' to assess the current situation and develop a plan for the courts. They designate ''Mulattos as the fruits of integration.'' They become disenchanted with the progress and swear as Mulattos to take revenge on the major professional Civil Rights opinion leaders, both black and white, using a mind-altering drug. One of the committee members is a spy, but most Mulattos escape capture and will sinisterly work singly with increased intensity toward their goals
What the Fu*K are you posting this racist, anti-mulatto, pro-black propaganda on here for? Why dont you just post a copy of the protocols of the elders of zion while you are at it?

You are overracting. What is the harm in posting a link to Amazon's page for the book? If it is thought-provoking and worth reading, I for one would like to know how and why. If it is stupid and not worth reading, I would also like to know how and why. That its intent is "anti-mulatto, pro-black propaganda" is interesting, but does not negate site members' being informed about it.
The entire notion of a miitant "mulatto" self-identity always seems odd to me. I neither criticize nor discourage it, of course, it just seems strange--sort of like someone being a zealously aggressive agnostic. And so, arguments pro and con would be informative.
I would love to hear from someone who has read, or at least skimmed this book. I am skeptical that it succeeds in being militantly pro-black. For one thing, although it came out nearly four years ago, its sales rank (5,400,000) is about as low as it is possible to get: lower by far than any of Backintyme's titles, much lower than Charles's new book (1,200,000), and much, much lower than A.D.'s (600,000). If it were as successful at preaching pro-black and anti-mixed self-identity as, say, Matthews, Piper, or Williams, I would have expected it to sell better than that.
Zandie, have you read it? Could you tell us something about it?
Ok Frank, maybe I was getting to riled up. She has a right to post this garbage, and I have a right to point out that its propaganda and nonsense. But I should still not get over-excited. Sorry.

I was thinking about purchasing this book too. I wish there was more literature on mulattoes in the U.S. and much of what I've seen have been about really successful mulattoes who were leaders of various movements and communities.
