A few weeks ago, an unflattering recorded voice mail left by Denise Richard's ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, was made public. On it, an irate Sheen can be heard verbally thrashing Richards even dropping the N-bomb on her at one point, which is why it was a big story (for a couple of days anyhow). Needless to say, the gossip messageboards for both Sheen and Richards were flooded about this topic. Most people defended Sheen claiming he's not a racist and that anybody of any ethnic background can be called the N-word without the term necessarily being an insult specifically toward African-Americans. But there were at least a few people who mentioned that Denise had (or has) a black grandparent, which is why Sheen chose to use that particular slur against her....It could be just a rumor or flat out lie. Has anyone else ever heard something about Richards having a black grandparent?

I really don't know the heritage of Denise Richards, currently she has a Caucasian phenotype, and I am sure she identifies as such.
Whether or not the rumors are true, it is difficult, just IMO, for the N* word to hold much potency coming from someone named Carlos Estevez(AKA Charlie Sheen). He is 1/4 Spaniard I believe and not saying that excuses it, but I know 2 Spaniards (one of Northern Italian the other of German ancestry) they both use the N* word I also know of other Caucasians that have Latin heritage that drop N* bombs in everyday conversation.

Urban NY yes. But Not common in Latin cultures elsewhere. But Charlie was born in the city, so that could be the case.

I was talking about Madison Grant reporting that native-born Welsh are not members of the White (Nordic nor even Alpine) "race." Instead, according to him, the Welsh are the same "race" as Berbers and Arabs.
Of course, since nobody takes Grant seriously any more, I meant it with tongue in cheek.

Families I speak of are those that I grew up with in Ga, with extended family in South Carolina.
And as far as how these Caucasian's look, they look like Caucasians, yeah some look like they have more admixture than others, but Caucasian nonetheless
