Mini Biography
Nicole Lyn was born in Brampton, Ontario to parents Cheryl Gabay and Peter Lyn. Her love for the arts began at 3 years old, when she started taking dance classes in her hometown of Brampton, Onatrio, Canada. She loved performing so much, she was soon modeling and appearing in Canadian and US national commercials, which led to regular roles on two Canadian series ("Ramona" (1988) and "Eric's World" (1991) by age 12.
Throughout her childhood, Nicole cultivated her passion for acting and dance at both the National Ballet School of Canada and Claude Watson School for the Arts, where she also excelled academically.
At age 14, Nicole knew she would pursue a life in the arts and, after taking a 3 year hiatus from acting professionally to attend high school, she did just that. Nicole returned to Canada she landed a leading role on the Fox's teen sitcom "Student Bodies" (1997), after which she moved to Los Angeles. There, she fatefully met her husband, actor Dulé Hill. The two reside in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley.
Lyn has appeared in television films such as On Thin Ice: The Tai Babilonia Story, Dying To Dance, the Showtime miniseries Anne Rice's The Feast Of All Saints, and she appeared in the feature film Deliver Us From Eva.

The first time I saw her was in Feast of All Saints, she was casted perfectly for that role, but that rape scene was really rough to watch, I actually warned my mother about it so that she wouldn't watch it with my niece.
Her acting wasn't too bad in Half & Half either, I am not sure if she was in one or two episodes.

Yeah, that gang rape scene was pretty intense. "Feast of All Saints" was a very informative movie as it educated me about the whole plasage thing that once existed in pre Civil War New Orleans. Overall though, I think it could've been a better movie.
According to IMDB, Nicole was on Half & Half 3 times:
"Half & Half" .... Stephanie Seymour (3 episodes, 2003-2004)
- The Big Not So Loyal Family Episode (2004) TV episode .... Stephanie Seymour
- The Big Employee Benefits Episode (2004) TV episode .... Stephanie Seymour
- The Big Mixed Up Mojo Episode (2003) TV episode .... Stephanie
Nicole is a beautiful woman.....Dule is one lucky man.
Feast of All Saints - That's where I know her from. I was trying to place her face. An okay movie but the book is great. Another book along similar lines that I hope they make into a movie one day is Cane River by Lalita Tademy.
