Hello all
I have made some changes.
This forum is for topics of general interest that happen to involve women but that are not necessarily sensitive or private. Such topics would be more in line with the overall focus of the board, which leans toward being more scholarly, informational, and "factual." For example, today I posted about the new Canadian Governor General. I started to put it on the Women's forum but I really wanted wider comment, and it was more informational, not sensitive, so I posted it elsewhere.
In contrast, things that are less "factual" and informational (i.e., that have to do with parenting, or hair, or skin, or private things about relationships that ladies may only want to share with ladies), can be posted in the "Ladies Only" forum. It is then possible for women to have a place to discuss things that don't necessarily have a wider appeal.
So, WELCOME ALL!
