Due to the well-documented and frequent exchanges between Jaime and A.D. that degenerate into retaliation (FOR ANY REASON), the moderator board is especially attuned to their style of interaction with one another. While there is certainly a difference between the two in approach and perhaps motivation, there is not a lot of patience for defensiveness....on either side, for any reason.
If you must respond to one another, I strongly suggest that you go out of your way to use benign and polite language and leave no room for interpretation or possible rule violation.
If you interact in my forum please feel free to request direct moderating from me prior to responding via PM or out in the open.
LSGH - I make a direct appeal to you to express your admiration for Powell privately (or constructively) and request her permission prior to re-posting her articles, especially those that are polemical rather than scholarly. A lot of this interaction (and others) was egged on by your "you go girl" posts. You didn't do A.D. any favors, and if you truly admire her you should refrain from egging on defensive responses that could get her suspended.
