Young Adult Self-Help, Motivational

Your future is up to you.

I received my first copy of this book during my sophomore year at North Mesquite High School. My father used it as a guide to help me make my vision a reality. There were many things that I wanted to do with my life. We had many conversations, many vision-related trips, and annual reviews of my plans and goals. Today, I have chosen the profession that provides me the most joy and excitement. My parents, high school teachers and counselors, and college professors have been instrumental in helping me to reach my full potential. Where Will You Find Your Star enabled me to reach inside my thoughts and seek out those who had the knowledge. — Andrew R. Williams, II, Communications Major, Prairie View A&M U.

Drew Williams is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University, a former US Army officer, and a former assistant store manager for Home Depot. He has served as a corporate trainer in both the dental and medical industry. He has one son, Andrew II, who goes to college at Prairie View. He gives back to the community by helping parents with college prep for their children. His hobby is African-American genealogy, and he is listed on the Kaufman County Texas Genealogy Website.
